DYNAMIC SUCTION KIT - INTAKE

Sprint Filter produces systems that differ in the quality of the materials used and production processes. To install a Sprint Filter dynamic intake kit it is necessary to eliminate the original filter box and connect the Sprint Filter intake system to the throttle body using pipes not supplied in the kit. KD1TCR, the flagship of Sprint Filter, is approved in the World and National Championships by Honda through Jas Motorsport.

KD1

KD1 was born in 1995, the standard dynamic air intake applicable to all cars, patented by Sprint Filter and copied by all the other manufacturers who made slight modifications. According to the Venturi principle, the air brought to the kit by a flexible duct expands and recompresses, creating flow speed and supercharging the engine.

KD1 C

From the KD1 series with aluminum conveyor, the KD1C was subsequently born which stands out for its carbon conveyor.

KD1 R

KD1R is the version with carbon duct of the KD series, to which a horn can be applied in addition to the flexible air duct for lovers of a more engaging sound.

KD1 TCR

KD1TCR was born in 2017, built entirely in carbon (both the base and the conveyor) molded in an autoclave. KD1TCR consists of much larger inlet and outlet diameters than the other models of the KD family, to supply an even greater quantity of air to cars with extreme preparation.

KD2

The KD2 series consists of an air intake with both dynamic and static characteristics: used with the flexible duct that brings air to the kit from the outside of the car, it allows, thanks to the Venturi effect, to spread and compress the air flow, supercharging the engine. Instead, used statically with a horn, it gives a more engaging engine sound for lovers of the genre.

KD2 has a very small size which allows application in any engine compartment in an extremely simple way, thanks also to the multiple application diameters which guarantee its use on both small and large displacements.
