Machined from billet aluminum, the racing-derived GT-R Monobloc calipers are lightweight, stiff and heat resistant. GT-R calipers limit un-sprung weight which improves overall vehicle dynamics and performance. Designed to provide consistent clamping force and a firm, predictable pedal feel. Stainless steel radiated piston inserts supplied in the caliper significantly reduce heat transfer during extreme driving, virtually eliminating brake fade. To guard against corrosion and deliver a bold graphic statement, GT-R calipers are nickel-plated, and accented with a machined-in brilliant red Brembo logo. GT-R brake systems include two-piece floating hat and rotor assemblies, that reduce un-sprung weight and dissipate heat quickly. The anti-rattle rotor hardware is derived directly from Brembo experience, engineering brakes for the F1 supercar. The GT-R line offers a variety of friction materials that can tailor the brake system to a wide range of drivers and conditions on the road or on the track. For customers focused on track day competition, the GT-R system is available with slotted rotors. To ensure a seamless, clean installation, the GT-R kit includes all necessary hardware, and is compatible with original equipment ABS and hydraulic systems.
